Joint Entrance Examination or JEE (main) results 2013 were announced on 07/05/2013 (Tuesday). JEE Conducted by the CBSE, JEE (Main) 2013 scores will decide admittance to the NIT, IIIT and several deemed universities. JEE (main) results will also contain of category wise merit lists in which aspirants will be set in the increasing order of their ranks.
Candidates can see their JEE (main) results on the official website — www.jeemain.nic.in Class XII board marks will bear 40% weightage and JEE scores will bear 60% weightage for admissions. Furthermore The JEE Main scores are an eligibility test for the JEE Advanced, which a candidate has to take if they are hopeful for admittance to the undergraduate programmes presented by the IITs and Indian School of Mines Dhanbad.
In addition the candidates will be sent their rank cards through Ordinary Post. No responsibility will be taken by the organizing groups for any loss or failure in postal transportation of rank cards of JEE Main 2013 Result.
In case of non-receipt of the rank card via post within the predetermined time, candidates can apply for duplicate rank card with the sum of Rs. 50/- extra postal charges of Rs. 30/- for outstation aspirants by Demand Draft (DD) drawn in name of Secretary, CBSE and to be paid at Delhi/New Delhi between 01.08.2013 – 31.08.2013.
